www.registration.ippis.gov.ng: How to Register for Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS)

The Federal Government in Nigeria has commenced the online registration of its workers in all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) under the Federal Civil Service in order to fish out ghost workers and enhance credibility in payment efficiency.

 

A ghost worker is someone who whose name appears in the pay slip or payroll of a government agency and receives salary every month but is not a staff or appears for duty.

Here we will tell you how to register for the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPS), which is now a compulsory requirement for all public servants to register in the country now. So what is the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System?

What is IPPIS?

IPPIS is one of the transformation agenda of the Federal Government of Nigeria with the aim of creating a Centralized Database System for Nigeria Public Service with a single. Accurate source of employee’s information that provides integration with other business application.

Objectives of the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS)

The objective of the scheme is numerous and would be of benefits to the federal government and the nation at large. Some of the objectives I have outline here for you to know.

  • Provides a Centralized Database to aid Governments Manpower Planning and Decision Making
  • Prevent Wastage and Leakages by ensuring Staff remuneration are based on factually correct information.
  • Facilitate automation and storage of Personnel records to support monitoring of staff emolument payments against budget.

Among other things, it will ensure prompt payment of salaries directly to Employees account with appropriate deductions and remittances of 3rd party payments.

The Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) is a web based application for employee data collection like I told you earlier. To access the application, you would require an online enable device such as a computer, a browser of your choice on the computer system, Microsoft Office Suite and Access to the Internet.

If all the above requirements is ready, then open the registration page and start filling your form.

Login www.registration.ippis.gov.ng in your browser/ you will then be redirected to the Login page.

Please follow the steps I have outline below in filling the form online.

  • HOW TO LOGIN.

To login to the portal, you will need a reference id and token which can be gotten from your HR in your MDA/UTH. Once you have this, you can now start the process.

Please note that your token has an expiry period of 2 weeks. If there is any difficulty logging in, please contact your HR.

  • UPDATE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

This form will allow you update your personnel information since most of your personnel details has been filled by your HR. once you login, you will be redirected to the personnel information form for you to update it.

  • FILL THE EMPLOYMENT FORM

This allows you to key in your employment information.

  • FILL THE DEPENDENT FORM

This allows you to key in your dependents information.

This allows you to key in details of your next of Kin.

  • FILL EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM

This allows you to key in your emergency contact form

  • FILL IN THE EDUCATION FORM

This allows you to key in your educational details.

  • FILL IN YOUR COURCE FORM

This allows you to key in the training or courses you have taken.

  • FILL THE PROMOTIONS FORM

This allows you to key in your promotional details.

  • FILL IN THE TRANSFER FORM

This allows you to key in your transfer information details.

  • FILL IN THE EMPLOYMENT HISTORY FORM

This allows you to key in your employment history details

  • VIEW IN THE SUMMARY PAGE

Once you are done with the filling, you will be taken to a summary page where you can check and cross check all the details you have filled in case of error or corrections. The page shows a summary of the navigation menu that has been successfully completed in green colour and yet to be completed in orange colour. Edit what is necessary and print out.

HOW TO PRINT

This page is where you can print your IPPIS form for submission in your MDA for biometric enrollment.to print follows the steps below;

Click on print slip on the navigation pane to display your slip. Once you have printed your slip, you cannot make changes to your data.
